Sean Harkness Destined for Musician Greatness
The musician has showcased his born talent since receiving his first guitar at age 11. In just six months the youngster turned professional playing weekly with a trio at the Downtown Cabaret Theater in Bridgeport, CT.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, the master musician has become known as one of the most sought-after guitarists. The prolific performer works tirelessly throughout the world performing solo and as a sideman. He has played with an array of well-known performers including Kathleen Turner, Nona Hendryx, Tom Wopat, Lucie Arnaz, Leslie Uggams, and Christine Andreas.
There are a couple of things set Harkness apart from other well-known guitarists. It is evident that he personally understands his instrument inside out. He has a unique perspective from the builder point of view, as Harkness worked as an assistant, and performed repair work, with guitar artisan Chip Wilson. The guitarist proudly still uses instruments that he personally restored.
